The yacht harbour at JH Bruinisse has been enlarged with even more extensive and modern facilities for visitors.
In common with many of the larger marinas they no longer take telephone bookings but you can use the Bluewaterapp to reserve and pay for your mooring, making the walk to the harbour office to pay a thing of the past! Ample space for visitors at €2.80/m per night plus tourist tax. Good but expensive launderette facilities (washer €5.50, dryer €3.00, coloured soap €0.75, white soap €1.50 at 2024 prices). Green (eco-friendly) diesel €2.40/l. Pump out free.
The De Punt exhibition at the north end of the Brouwersdam is no longer in operation but you can visit the small railway museum at Ouddorp and take a ride on one of their restored steam trains. At De Punt you can visit the Bunker route, a collection of WW2 defences which have been newly excavated and opened to the public.
