The convoy system is being extended to six times daily to help leisure boats transit the canal in under an hour from the Keersluisbrug in Vlissingen to Stationsbrug in Middleburg. 

The six transits mean a maximum of one and a half hour’s wait to join the next passage. Convoys are in operation during the summer season from April until the end of October. Bridge openings will be limited at other times to facilitate road traffic flow so try to make use of one of these convoys to make your journey.
