Second World War bunkers have been excavated at De Punt near Ouddorp on the Grevelingenmeer.
Originally built by the Germans to defend against an invasion from the sea, the network of bunkers were discovered and renovated by volunteers. A 1km walking route takes you around the site, with information boards (in English) to tell you about the history of the site. Freely accessible from 9am to 9pm the site is accessed via a good cycle path along the De Punt road off the N57 west of Ouddorp.
